28th June 98: Esses Hillclimb Mt Panorama. Well it was a cold miserable day at bathurst only a small turn up of 28 cars.I did quite well improving on my old best time 32.46 by half a sec 31.90 winning my class by over 8 seconds. Ended up 11th outright quickest time of day was 27.38 in an insane honda 1000cc supercharged open wheeler sounded really sweet :)

26th June 98: Round 6 NSW Supersprint Championship. Typical Bathurst weather it rained all morning making it very interesting sliding around the track. Being a state round  there was a lot of quick cars 41 all up. After lunch it dried up so we could get some quick times in my best for the day was 55.44 not as quick as I have been but I put it down to the cold weather. Ended up 10th outright and 1st in class by 2.5 seconds. Highlight of day was blowing off my dream car a Nissan GTR :) Fastest time of day was 52.81 A friend of mine in a 300hp LJ torana.
16th August 98: khanacross Sulman Park Mt Panorama. Well it was raining again what a ball we had. I let a friend enter my car as well both doing quite well I came 1st outright on 2 stages had a stack on 1 and 3rd on the last still Ended up 2nd outright to a awesome datsun 1600. No major damage done to datsun just a bent guard and 5 second penalty for taking out the flag area. here are some pics from the day.Not very good photos will have to get a good camera for speed events as most of the shots where blurry :(

2nd, 3rd & 4th April 1999: Easter Speed Weekend Mt Panorama. What a blast I had new CA18DET engine in and running first meet for year with new setup. Friday Esses hillclimb was raining most of day ended up getting in one dry run 29.5 seconds 2.4 seconds quicker than I have ever run before equaled class record :) Won my class for day bye 0.8 seconds closely followed buy David Tutton in his torana.
        Saturday Mountain Straight Hillclimb was a great day nice and cool for turbo but a bit of sun to warm up track ended up running 46.34 seconds 0.13 behind David Tutton my best time before was 52.68 seconds 6.34 second quicker than A series they say its a power hillclimb I got plenty now.Came second in class for this day David holds record for this hillclimb Im sure with a bit more practice I will get faster there was 22 entrants in our class over 3000cc 2E.
        Sunday Caltex Chase Super Sprint what a buzz I changed diff or this race as Im sure 4.6:1 would be flat out half way down conrod. With 3.3:1 diff ended up pulling 6500rpm in 4th which equates to just under 220kmh :) Pulled just on 190kmh down to Murrays corner.Ended up with a personal best of 50.94 seconds over 4 seconds quicker than I have ever done before won my class for day and speed weekend outright for class :) 91 entrants all up including some awesome open wheelers I ended up 8th outright :) Had some people come up to me and ask what the f$&# is in that little datsun :) kicked some serious ass. I cant wait for next outing hopefully I can go as well in the future As i did on my first race meet with new motor.

Slight amount of oversteer :)  Tried exiting corner in 2nd instead of 3rd.

2nd June 1999: Eastern Creek Street Drags. First drag race I have done on a proper drag strip lots of cars only got 3 runs:(  Ended up with a best of 12.85@107mph (172kmh) with 15psi boost and a fair amount of wheelspin. Next time I go I plan to have softer suspension in rear and also maybe some slicks. Should be capable of low 12's even maybe high 11's with current power :)
1st September 1999: Eastern Creek Street Drags. First drag race with new turbo. Shame I could not run high boost without leaning out still with 12psi it ended up with 12.4@110mph (177kmh) 11's soon with new injectors and higher boost.
4th&5th December 1999: Bathurst Speed weekend. My best ever result yet there was 82 entrants all up with 22 in my Class over 3000cc Club car. On the Saturday the Catlex Chase Supersprint was on. I finished  2nd outright!!!!with a 47.98 only 0.23 behind Dennie Rumble in his blown V6 powered cheatah renault. (open wheeler) this is 3 seconds quicker than I have ever been before. I won my class bye nearly 4 seconds to Bathurst driver Martin McLoughlin.
  On the Sunday we did the Essess hillclimb I really strugled with this tight track as I found I needed a lower diff. 2nd gear was too much out of tight windy corners and 3rd gear was just off boost even so I finished 2nd in class to Martin in his Purple LJ. I was only 0.63 behind with a time of 30.21 I finished 4th outright for entire weekend only beaten bye open wheelers. It was a real buzz being the fastest sedan on the mount not bad for a daily driven car that is also driven too & from the track
15th December 1999: Eastern Creek Street Drags. A very warm evening running new interccooler & injectors with 15psi I improved on my old time with a 12.3@113 only problem being after breaking my 4.6:1 diff at last drags I only had the 3.3:1 making it bog down off the line. with 4.6 diff I was running 1.6-1.7 60 ft times with the 3.3 all runs where over 2 second 60 ft times :( Should hopefully be able to crack into the 11's with low diff back in it. 
19th January 2000: Eastern Creek Street Drags. Another very hot day 42 degree's after lunch.:(. I fitted the 4.6 diff back in and run 18psi with no rear power gain with 15psi I run my quickest time of 12.0@113mph 60ft times where much better at low 1.7. I had 5 runs all low 12's at 110-113mph got faster as the night cooled down a bit.

29th October 2000: Eastern Creek Supesprint.What fun I had first race in ages with new turbo ect ended up with some huge top speed 6400rpm in 4th with 3.3 diff. Best time of a 1:55.6 pretty damn fast :) highlight of day was overtaking an RS liberty on slicks going into turn 1. that took big balls. I have some good video footage of this so I will put up soon.
