New forged Aries 40 thou over pistons Machined buy APEP in Melbourne very expensive but worth every cent for reliability running high boost. Most expensive part of rebuild cost nearly $1100 with Total Seal Racing rings.

CA18det 16 Valve head. Valves were reseated and ports ported out to flow more. Exhaust ports were polished Inlet ports were left rough to atomize fuel better. Valve guides were also replaced. Cams are still standard. I spent full day match porting manifolds. Head mods were done buy JTS Performance Heads .

Bottom end all together Block was bored, decked and honed buy Bob Weatherall Race Engines

Assembly was done buy myself nearly all together at this stage. Cam timing was fun to get right. Well worth the hours late at night getting it all together.
Another pic of engine 90% completed looking good. I cut holes in coil cover to keep them cool as the are expensive to replace as well.

New 4 puck sprung center clutch and heavy duty pressure plate. Built buy Daiken to Nismo spec can handle upto 500hp cost heaps but you get what you pay for.

Here is the new turbo compared to standard. It is a Garret GT25 rollerbearing turbo. It made a huge difference to power has a little more lag but pulls hard all the way from 2800 too 8000rpm . Can only run 12psi with new turbo as stock injectors have run out of flow.

New front mount Intercooler I made tanks ect myself all welding was done bye MRC. BIG isn't it :)
Side view of new turbo I have purchased new injectors and plan to open up combustion chamber so I can run upto 20psi without detonation will have around 320hp then :)
